As the name implies, you join in with your brawler and you duke it out with others for no reason.

I'm starting off with my brawler Number Nine.

ONE WEEK BATTLE IS LOCKED FOR THE TIME BEING, IT WILL RE-OPEN WHENEVER THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST

One Week Battle, the thread where your brawler can get KILLED!
The way it works is like this: If your latest post is a week old, your brawler can be killed by another participating brawler. Your dead brawlers cannot come back to the thread, and you have to join in with one that hasn't been in the thread yet. If you run out of brawlers, you're fucked.

Here are a few RULES:

1. If your latest post is exactly 7 days old, and you haven't posted after that, your character can be killed by another person. You cannot post until your character is dead.

2. You cannot kill your own character, make sure to let people know your time is up, that way you can participate with a fresh brawler.

3. When posting, make sure your brawler is doing something. Do not post a single panel picture of your brawler just standing there doing nothing. If you still do this, your post will be deleted and you'll risk your brawler's chance of making the week.

General Off-Topic / General Rules
« on: April 07, 2017, 03:29:30 am »
Okay, just so this entire talking thing doesn't get abused to freaking kingdom come, let me elaborate on the rules:

Obvious ones:

1. No spamming

2. Do not personally attack a member or guest.

3. No discussing illegal actives.

4. Don't post pictures depicting illegal acts from real life.

5. If your topic has adult material inside, make sure that you put a "NSFW" label in the topic title.

6. No excessive adult-related topics. No irl gore or nasty porn.

7. Don't post personal information about a user or guest without their permission.

8. No multiple posting, double is okay, if you don't abuse it, no one's gonna bitch about that, but anything higher may be punished with a ban. Even in the Random Thread.

Now for the others:

1. Advertisement goes in separate topics or in the appropriate forum section.

2. Keep Shit-posting and Meme-spouting to a minimum.

3. If you're posting a controversial topic, fine. Just keep an open-mind about the other side of the argument.

4. Post in at least mostly proper English. You have spell check to help you out. If it doesn't, learn it.

5. No extremely excessive smilies.

6. Some things shouldn't be joked about by any means (death of a family member, suicide, world threats, etc.).

7. No impersonating another user. WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU ABUSING YOUR ABILITY TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME.

8. No Mass PMs, unless they're very important. Contact Des or another mod if you want to spread something around.

9. Don't make threads complaining about how much you hate the site.

10. Stop bumping old threads with just a simple one liner, just for the sake of bumping it. If you have something good to say, say it, if you want to bump because you want more people to see it, PM a mod.

11. Don't be a backseat mod. This means don't respond to someone's post with something like "hey, that's against the rules!"; instead, wait for the mods to find it, or, if you feel we've missed it, send one of us a PM and we'll either take care of the issue or explain why the issue isn't as big as you think.

12. No "PAGE KING" or "FIRST" posts, they'll be deleted, and if done excessively, you'll be banned.

Now that you have been informed, feel free to speak out.

TOPICS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE MADE:

1. "I'm new here." Post on the Introduction Thread if you're new and want to introduce yourself.

2. "I'm leaving" or "I'm thinking of leaving." Just leave, if you make a post about leaving, you'll be banned.

3. "THIS PLACE IS GONNA DIE!" No one wants to hear it.

THAT IS ALL, GOOD DAY.

Grudge Matches / Grudge Match Rules and FAQ (READ FIRST)
« on: April 07, 2017, 03:26:43 am »
The Grudge Match Board is basically the same as the Main Arena, except it's more for one on one battles or stories. Main Arena rules apply here too so read them here:

MAIN ARENA RULES

Anyway, here are some guidelines that should be followed:

1. Make sure that the person you are grudging KNOWS about it, don't just start a thread without their knowledge.

2. Title your threads appropriately, an example would be using usernames: DES VS GRENT. Or using Brawler names: MARCKUS VS GUNSMITH. You can also add subtitles, like, MARCKUS VS GUNSMITH: FIREPOWER.

3. You can have a second Grudge Thread with a user if it's with new brawlers, or if you'll be using the same characters, the last Grudge needs to have a COHERENT AND SATISFACTORY CONCLUSION. If it doesn't it'll be deleted.

4. You can use the same thread if you want to reboot the match.

5. You may grudge yourself.

That's it for now, now go make it PERSONAL!

Main Arena / MAIN ARENA FAQ AND RULES (READ BEFORE POSTING)
« on: April 07, 2017, 03:25:01 am »
Main Arena is where you participate in threads using your Brawlers to interact with other people's Brawlers. Each thread should have its own theme that makes it unique to others.

Here is an example of how interacting with another user usually works:

FIRST USER: BRAWLER KICKS STICKMAN IN FACE.

SECOND USER: STICKMAN REPLIES BY BREAKING THE LEG.

Not all threads are going to be random battle royals, some are going to be story oriented, please pay attention to the thread's theme or if a thread has its own rules and reply accordingly.

RULES: (Follow them STRICTLY.)

1. Before you participate in a thread, make a Roster explaining the powers and abilities of your Brawler. Unless a thread asks for you to make a new Brawler.

2. Don't bullshit your way out of situations, like disregarding an attack, and don't make bullshit attacks. Just don't do bullshit in general that would piss people off.

3. No killing. If a User would like their character to die off, it's fine, but DO NOT "kill" a character without the permission of the owner.

4. Be original, don't copy other people's attack.

5. Put effort in your drawings, or at least make it coherent so everyone can make sense out of it.

6. Do not reuse pictures.

7. You can explain what is happening in your picture if you want.

8. Be creative with attacks, don't just "punch" a Brawler and leave it at that.

9. When creating a thread, make sure there isn't a thread like it. If there is a thread like it, post in the original thread, don't make new ones.

10. Just so everyone knows your character, make sure that the character you are using has a profile and/or a description in the Concept Art thread. The profile is obviously preferred. If it is the first time you have ever used that character, please provide a link to the character's description.

11. If you're starting a new topic in Main Arena, it MUST have an opening picture or it will be locked. Period.

That's it, good luck and BRAWL.

Rosters / Roster Rules and FAQ
« on: April 07, 2017, 03:23:18 am »
RULES

1. No copying other people's Brawler design.

2. Original characters only, you can't have Kirby as your Brawler.

3. Do not make multiple threads, you can only have one thread to showcase your Brawlers. If you want a new one, ask a mod to delete the whole thread.

FAQ

What is a roster?

-A roster is where you make a single thread dedicated to showcasing your Brawlers and their abilities.

How do I make one?

-You should make a thread titled after your username and then roster. An example would be "Des's Roster." Or you can be more creative with the title like, "Des's Super Awesome Brawlers." The catch is that it MUST CONTAIN YOUR USERNAME so others can find it.

What should it contain?

-Every roster should contain images of what the brawlers look like and information like their powers/abilities and a biography (bio is optional.) Additionally if you don't want to put information in the brawler image you can leave it as text.
